Every year in the tamil month of "Margazhi" one particular day(Bahula Panchami) all singers will gathered and sing pancharatna keerthanas. It is very nice to hear the songs from all the legends.
Tyagaraja is the Doyen of Karnataka music. Though he was from a Telugu family, he was patronized by the Tamilians. His Keertanas are in praise of lord Rama are highly popular. I pay my humble tributes to this great Musician.
Tyagaraja was a great composer of Carnatic music and his contributions were wonderful. He was considered as one of the trinity of Carnatic music composers, the others being Muthuswamy Dikshitar amd Syama Shastri.
All the three great Musicians are known as "VaggeyaKaras" which means they are the masters in creating melodious Keertanas from the words. All the three are venerable personalities in the Music circles, especially Karnatak music..
