Bhagat Singh was an icon in the freedom movement. His sentence to death was announced today in 14 feb and he was hanged 2  months later. Even Gandhi refused to appeal for commutation of his death sentence.  Today is also Valentine's day and lots of Indians are celebrating, but nobody has a thought for Bhagat singh

Bhagat Singh lives very much in the heart and minds of all Indians. It need not be expressed every day. Valentine Day is an expression of love and romance celebrated once a year and young Indians can do so. It does not spread hatred and is not divisive . Lumping the two together is not fair to both. Constant brooding seems to be a favourite pastime of many.

What a joke, Bhagat Singh was in the list of traitors and anti-nationalists in the list of government. Valentine's Day is in thing while the likes of Bhagat Sighs are out of date.

Indeed a Joke. People are there who are thinking still Bhagat Singh is a traitor.!!!

Bhagat Singh is never out of our mind. But on valentine day, some mischievous elements propagate some other events with a view to discourage valentine day. Here is a link.

Let there be Valentine's day. There is no objection. But its an unpardonable crime to forget a great martyr like Bhagat Singh.

Who said that common peoples forgot Bhagat Singh. Bhagat Singh also have love with his country and freedom. It is shame for both countries, Pakistan and India that till the day in government record Bhagat Singh is a criminal.

Bhagat Singh belongs to India. He brought honor and respect to India. Its the responsibility of every Indian to uphold the honor of this great patriot.

I think no Indian has forgotten him. School students learn about him through books and they all respect him. Even Bollywood invested a lot on making movies based on his life so these are all examples of showing respect and honour to the great soul but it's a farce to relate it with Valentine's Day.

Indian History long age removed the tag Traitor from the prefix of Revolutionary fighter Bhagat Singh. But our our own Indians do not know that he is Shaheed Bhagat Singh. But we know about Valentine. Let there be Valentine's day celebrations. But there should be celebrations of heroic deeds of our Martyr Bhahat Singh too.
