Self-Reliance

No comments on “Self-Reliance”

"Self-Relaince" is nothing but trusting yourself or having trust in you and not upon external life.Even thing in this world is bestowed upon Self-Reliance.The young ones of an animal or a bird depends upon their parents for a certain limit of time till they grow up and fly free on their own.

  • Plant uses its root to energy from soil.
  • Fish believes in its  intinct to swim and get food.
  • Grown human child is left alone so that they can look after itself.

A child develops self-confidence and self-respect and self-trust when it depends on itself.

Every living thing in this world wants to have self-reliance so badly. If one or a nation has self-reliance then the nation/he/she turns itself into an optimistic and hard working,so they could get respected. Self-reliance is born out of the hope of getting self-suffiency in character and strength and everything that makes you feel better in a good way.

trust1

  • A poor man's self-reliance can turn him into a rich man.
  • A merchants self-reliance can turn him into a better business man.
  • A students self-reliance brings him success.
  • A nations self-reliance brings it glory and fame.
  • A mothers self-reliance brings a safety future to her children.

A man is not a controller of his destiny. Fate brings him terrible blows and hardships. He can loose self-reliance when he finds himself in a terrible path , a way he was mislead.

But there are indeed some nations and lives which cannot get self-reliance 'cause of its mental and physical weakness.

So be strong and earn yourself some respect and have Trust in you.

Thankyou,

Rajkumar

United we stand –divided we fall

We are all Indians

We love our country

You may be familiar with this well-know saying, ``united we stand; divided we fall’’. Or, ``unity is strength’’.

We are social beings. We need the help of one another to make the life beautiful and worth0-livung. If we do not share, if we do not help each other, if we do not work together, we cannot achieve anything if life.

India got freedom from the British only because we all stood united under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru used to assert these words, ``unity in diversity’’. India is a land of many languages, many cultures, and much religious worship. Thus we are divided externally. But each one of us belongs to our mother land. India is our mother. We are the children of the same mother living in different areas. Yet we are one.

Observe this little story

*The hunter was so happy for he got eight pigeons at a time. Being tired, he kept the pigeons in the net and slept a while. The pigeons talked each other and planned to escape. They all untidily decided to fly together with the net. Then they worked with one mind and away together.

When the hunter got up he saw the pigeons flying off with net.

This sows we can achieve anything if we are united.

Another well-known story

*A king had three sons. But the sons were not united. They used to quarrel and never helped each other. The old king was unhappy. He understood that the enemies would kill them and take away his kingdom.

King plan

The he thought of a plan. The king called the princes together. He gave them a bundle of sticks tied together with a string.

``Can you break this?’’ he asked. Each one of them tried with his whole strength to break it but could not. The he said to them to un-tie the string and take each stick and try to break. Then they succeeded then the king said to them, ``the bundle was strong because it was tied together. Alone each stick is weak. In the same way as long you fight each other you will always be weak and then you will be attacked by your enemies. Stop being divided and quarrelling but be united and helpful to one another’’. Therefore they never quarreled.

As a team or group you can achieve much. When you do something by yourself, there is no support, or very little help you get. But as a team when you do something, you get better co-operative and help from others. Then you work becomes easier and free from burden.

Be friend always. Be helpful to you friends and do everything with a spirit of love and togetherness.

We call him Guru because we learn so much from his poems

All great persons had Gurus

Shivaji Guru was Ramdas

Swami Dayanand’s Guru was swami Virajanand

Role of senior citizens in Indian society

No comments on “Role of senior citizens in Indian society”

Government allowed many felicities and accommodation for senior citizens. Seat reservation and rebate in bus fair, railway fair and in some others.

Human relationship

Good relationship with of all us.

``Courtesy’’ is being polite to and respecting the other men as much as we do to ourselves. The golden ruler for harmonious social relationship is ``Do unto others what we want them to do for us.’’ So it is not good to ill –treat or belittle others. One must always find time to help a fellow-human being and when we must at least avoid being rude to him. In fact, country develops humane emotions and teaches being considerate to others, when we learn blindly.

Senior citizens in Indian society

The senior citizens have a pivotal role to play in the progress of our nation. People beyond sixty years gain much knowledge and are rich in experience. They can actively participate in the administration. Though indirectly they can comment or criticize the government polices and suggested amendatory measures. Though weak in body, they have minds that can ably suggest amendments for government policies and measures. Having suffered the ins and outs of employment, they can readily under stand what are employee-favorable and what are atrocious among the decisions taken by the government and act as check against the mean and unwise decisions of the government. This role can be taken by those senior citizens who are dynamic and secular-minded.

The other kind senor citizens who are placed and spiritually bent can take up the work of making the youth understand our cultural values and help them live up to our tradition. These people can help the youth to improve in pity and compassion for the weak, the disabled and the orphaned and participate in welfare measures for them. Thus they can motivate them to be guardians of the neglected and the disowned and practice the essence of spirituality. So whatever might be the temperament of a senior citizen he can play his part well, provided has the inclination.
