Preparations for a Russian Wedding:-

A Russian wedding is very simple. The planning only includes arranging for rings, brides’ dress, cars, and a reception. Earlier, the bride’s family paid for the reception, but now- a- days bride’s and grooms’ families usually share expenses. A Russian wedding lasts for two days; some weddings last as long as a weak, and the occasion becomes something to remember for years. The necessary part of the wedding ceremony is a wedding procession of several cars. The best friends of the groom/ bride meet before the wedding a few times, make posters, write speeches and organize contests. When the groom arrives to fetch the bride for the registration, he has to fight to get her! Russians usually live in apartments in tall buildings, and the groom has to climb several stairs to reach his bride.

But at each landing he must answer a question to be allowed to go up. The bride’s friends ask difficult questions (sometimes about the bride, sometimes just difficult riddles), and the groom must answer with the help of his friends. For example, he may be shown a few photos of baby girls and he must say which one his bride is. If he guesses wrong, he must pay cash to move ahead. After the marriage registration, the newly- married couple leaves the guests for a tour of the city sights. After two or three hours of the city tour the couple arrives at the reception. The couple sits at a specially arranged table with their family, friends and invited guests. The reception starts with toasts to the couple. A wedding toast is a custom where a close friends or relative of the groom or the bride says a few words to wish the couple, and then everyone raises their glass of wine, and drinks it up at the same moment. The groom is then asked to kiss the bride. After a few toasts, people start eating and drinking, and generally have fun. After some time, the bride gets’ stolen’! she disappears, and when the groom starts looking for her, he is asked to pay a fee. Usually it is his friends who’ steal’ the bride. Then there are the bride’s friends- they steal the bride’s shoe. The groom must pay money for the shoe too. The guests enjoy watching these tussles, and continue partying.

A student is a part of the society. He has a responsibility to serve it in some capacity or other. In Indian people hold the mother land as holy as one’s mother. Everybody has a responsibility to serve his fellow beings. The spirit of service should be taught to all students. Service to society is service to god. Every man is indebted to the society for his development. He can repay the debt by serving it.

Man is a social animal. He is born in society, grows in it and finally dies in it. He receives co-operation and security from it. Students should do their best to enrich such a society. The student of today is the citizen of tomorrow. He should cultivate the idea of service right from his student days. Great men like Gandhi and Nehru served the society in their student’s days. But today society is becoming largely selfish. Man is prepared to betray his fellow men for his own ends. People try to be rich by exploiting others. This is all because the motive of service is gradually disappearing from society.

A student should not confine himself to his studies alone. Education is his primary aim. But the aim of education is to make one useful to the society. Then only education is perfect. Students should gain knowledge of the world aground them. They must be ready to help and console the suffering humanity. With this view social service is encouraged. In schools and colleges service organizations are created. N.S.S. Scouts and A.C.C are such wings. Through these agencies students can serve the society.

Society service utilizes the energy of students in the right manner. In times of need they help the men around them. Their services are of great valve when there are natural calamities like floods or earthquakes. In times of peace students are made to participate in several activities. They can carry out programs like adult’s education, literacy campaign, clearance of slums and the like. They can take the programs of the government to people. They can make people enlightened.

Students have to realize their responsibility in building a modem India. Then we will have a glorious nation built in the years to come.

Being single on valentine may be nothing for some and may be very challenging for few who think of valentine day as a big occassion of love and enjoying with the loved one. For some people valentine day is the Most Romantic day of the year and being single on valentine day for them is very hurting. Valentine day comes every year on 14th Feb and these kinds of feelings of being alone without a partner comes to mind of most of the single.

One should not feel sad or bad that he or she is single on valentine and should not have the feeling of loneliness. One should understand there would be many people in the world who would be single and lonely on the day and he or she is not the only one who is single. 2.  Think positive - Be positive and confident about yourself. Dont think negative that i lack in something thats why i dont have a partner . Always keep good hopes about the future.

3.Plan a reunion or a adventure - Plan a reunion of some of your old friends may be old school or college friends may be you feel good with them or try to plan out a adventure May be going to a hill station , sea side or any place which you like to go and enjoy

4. Dont be jealous of others or compare yourself with them - Dont be jealous of your friends who have partners . Dont try to compare yourself with them and get upset. Be happy with what you have may be your friends would laugh at your single status just dont listen to others Be happy in your own life.

This tips will not work if you dont apply it on yourself .Just try to be happy with yourself otherwise it will just make you sad and depress.
