Yesterday on 5th July 2010, Bharat Bandh was observed all across the country. According to Opposition parties Bandh was the only way to register a protest against price increase eventhough it meant inconveniencing the very people who were already handed out a punishment in the form of price increase by the ruling party. The first problem to the common man on account of bandh came in the form of general inconvenience in the form of disruption in day to day activities and to complicate things a loss of rupees 3000 crores on account of bandh. Needless to say the loss incurred on account of bandh has to be borne by the common man at the end of the day.
If going by media reports it was Opposition parties who were to be faulted for calling the bandh, the ruling party was even worse. Instead of explaining to the public why prices had to be increased, they simply blamed Opposition saying that prices were increased when Oppostion too were at the helm. At the end of the day we cannot blame either the ruling party which enforced a increase or Opposition who wasted crores of rupees in loding a token protest to stall the increase because it is we ourselves who prefer to be at the receiving end.
We prefer to be mute spectators when our ministers loot crores of rupees and what is worse we re elect the same person not once or twice but atleast half a dozen times. Everybody knows crores of rupees is spent on security for ministers and other allowances which at the end of the day is borne by us but yet we prefer to remain silent. As and when an opportunity presents itself public waste no time in burning public properties and transport for the silliest of reasons, without realizing the loss caused by damage is recovered by us.
It is high time that all of us realize that we suffer not because of others, but because of ourselves.
In India , Govt . office have become centre of corruption & red tappism. If the same is removed than India can make 25% progress more per year in addition to existing growth. We have abundant manpower, resources . We can lead the world & we shall be living in India where every body is happy & prosperous. But this is not possible with out strong will & honesty of public leader . As they are breeding corruption , in turn these baboos also become corrupt . Political leader are using these baboos for own interest, in turn baboos are working for these political leaders & they are also minting money for themselves also ,Why police & defence personnel are also reported of corruption , They are also part of society . They see that these civilian counterparts are minting money why we should not be also minting .They find ways to mint money , now a days people are adopting illegal means for minting money maximum people of India are stabbing mother India , this may look odd but this is a fact . If I am corrupt & then how we can expect other to be honest . If this is not stopped , our enemy will take over us & thus we will loose a lot of our persons & wealth & another freedom struggle will have to be started.
My only small suggestion is to implement below mentioned points & see results.
- Fix time limit for courts says six month for completion of trial & punishment & very typical case say one year If a judge is found guilty of misjudgment knowingly then he should be sent to jail & be given exemplary punishment.
- Any application submitted by any public /Pvt. Person to Govt. Govt., response time should be fixed say 15 days . If deptt. does not respond, Then it should be assumed that govt. has no. objection & application is sanctioned ,if objection is raised at later stage ,all liabilities /loss should be recovered from salary of concerned staff/officer.
- All grievance & redressed should placed on website of deptt. If application is rejected , reason of rejection, If cleared latter why it was cleared . This documents should demand public. Enquiry should be ordered weather there was some under hand dealing ,then if some body is found guilty then severe punishment should be given.
- All deptt . should be audited by N.G.O. , there report should be made public & a copy should sent to CBI vigilance if NGO is found misleading fact all the member of NGO should by arrested & should be punished & no member of NGO should be allowed to make another NGO for 5 year at least.
- Assets of Govt. Baboos & minister should be made public & assets of there family member & close relations should be made public . If they are found amassing wealth disproportionate to there income ,they should be dismissed and should be hanged publicly within six month ,so that other people may not dare to be corrupt, If any member found helping them should also be given punishment .
This will result in removal of red tappism & corruption & our nation will progress & reach new heights.
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is popularly known as the Iron Man of India. He was born in October 31st,1975 to a poor farmer in Gujarat. He was the fourth child in his family. He has faced many struggles in his life. There are many incidents in his life from which we hould learn many things. Some of the incidents show that how good his heart is even though he is called Iron man.
He finished his law degree after so much of struggle. He wished to get the Bar-at-law degree from the University in United Kingdom. While doing his job, he started to save money for studying in England. After the desired amount is reached, he applied for passport and got it very soon. He reached the airport and his brother came there for send off. Patel's brother told him "Even though iam elder to you, iam very happy that you first got the opportunity to study law in United Kingdom". On hearing this, Patel told his brother "As you are elder to me, you only should get the degree first" and gave the ticket and money to his brother and sent him to UK. Then Patel again started saving money for the second time , went to United Kingdom and got the degree.
When Patel was studying in the law college, he didnot even had the money to buy books. So he used to borrow the books from his friend's wife. One day, his friend's wife died suddenly leaving a 6 months old child. Patel wanted to help his friend as he had helped Patel many times. So Patel vacated his house and stayed in his friend's house and took care of the child. While it is difficult for even experienced people to manage small kids, Patel managed to take care of this small child despite being a bachelor.
One time,Patel's wife was not feeling well and got admitted in the hospital at Mumbai. But Patel has to go to the court out of the city for a hearing in a criminal case. The case was going in a crucial period. So he couldn't avoid the trip. He told the doctor to take care of his wife and also told the doctor to inform him in advance if surgery needs to be done. Patel was cross examining the imporant witness in this case. The victory for the case depends much on the statement of this witness. At that time, a telegram was delivered to him. He read it and put that in his pocket slowly and continued his arguments in the court till the end of the session. Actuall the telegram stated that his wife was dead. Previously he got the first telegram. In that it was mentioned that the surgery was done to his wife and it was successful. Even after reading the news that his beloved wife was dead, Patel did not showed his
feelings till he finished his duty. May be that's why he is called Iron Man.
This great man died at the age of 75 in 1950.

*It is not one kind of flower but a variety of flowers that together make a beautiful garden.
Each Indian must love his country. There are so many languages and different races in India; yet all Indians are united by common history and culture. The Indian people were also united in their long struggle for freedom. India became free in 1847, but the feeling of national unity should still be in our hearts.
It is the duty of each Indian not to fall to narrow minded people, who think only of their family, caste or city. We should all contribute for the development of our country. Our concern should not be confined to the interest should be our prime objective.
You must have read the story of the pigeons that were caught in a net. They flew away together with the net and escaped the clutches of the hunter. Internal fighting and squabbles weaken the country. All our time, money and energy goes in trying to destroy the opponent within our own country. What will happen if, taking advantage of the situation, somebody attacks us from outside? We will not be able to face the enemy together. We will not be able to protect our motherland. Our freedom should be very precious to us. It was attained by the sacrifices and struggles made by the freedom fighters. Thus, it is our duty to preserve the multi-culture of our country.
The development of our country depends on our attitude towards each other. We all are dependent on each other. People from any one region cannot claim to be true Indians. Each region, no matter how small it is, contributes significantly in making this country rich in culture and heritage.
A necklace with only one kind of precious stone looks monotonous and dull. A necklace with variety of germs looks colorful and beautiful. Our country has a variety of customs, traditions and languages. We should enjoy the special and unique features of each region. India is a land of diverse religions and cultures. Let us vow to preserve this unity in Diversity. This will be our true homage to the great Indian leaders who laid down their lives or sake of their country.
