Presentability
First impression is always the best impression. Before talking to you an interviewer is just seeing your outlook. One can gauge a person’s attitude from how neat and well dressed he is. Always avoid dress like jeans, check shirt , fancy items in your hand or ear etc. Strictly follow a formal dress preferably light colored shirts with dark trousers. Ladies can wear sari or churidar in a descent way. Keep your head straight while walking towards the interviewer. You should wish interviewer(s) and wait till he asks you to take a seat.
Apt answers to questions
Give time for the interviewer to go through your resume. Let him start the discussion. Always keep in mind give only answers relevant to the situation. Keep your answers short and its content arranged. For example is interviewer asks you about your professional history, start from your first job rather than going backwards. Answer positively. If interviewer asks a question related to your present job and you don’t know answer for that, then you should be bold enough to say that you don’t know and will check and let know. You should not bluff because the person in for of you is a master in his field. If you make an mistake then always beg pardon and go ahead with the corrected statement. You should remember in an interview maximum time one will be getting 15-20 minutes. So yours answers should be discrete and clear.

Tell me something about your family. Here you should give a short description on your family members and what they are doing. This will give a fair idea for the interviewer to analyze your background.
Please take me through your professional or job history: As I discussed earlier start with your first job. Try to include reasons for switching the job also if more than one job is there in your history. Try to give details that would justify details in your resume. Mismatches always have negative marks.
Tell me something about your present profile : in this segment you should be well prepared with your job profile. Try to analyze and learn all aspects of your present profile. Understand your responsibilities clearly . For examples nature of work, turn around time, targets etc. If you don’t know your present profile the understand that you are out of the interview.
Why you want to change the job : This part checks whether you got the habit of switching over jobs. If you are giving a reply Career Growth , then you should clearly know the possibilities in your current job and one which your are applying. If possibilities are more on your current job then it is clear that you are switching for something else. Try to avoid reasons like Monetary benefits though you are switching for the same because all companies like a long lasting relation with their employees.
If I offer you this job, what will be you commitment to the company : Here you should clearly understand the new profile and the possibilities of enhancing your knowledge. You should honestly describe what effort can put for the betterment of the job.
