Possibly, management considered that points also indirectly give cash by participating in revenue share. If the points are too many, nobody would participate in forum discussions. This could be a cause for reducing points on articles.

But articles are given first priority here. So points should be given to attract more writers here :)
I don't know why senior members or moderators are not responding to this thread :S
any member- senior or junior- can respond only after logging in. Most probably, there might be no senior member or moderator on line when the thread was initiated.
