The arrested Maoist supporter's wife is seeking asylum abroad, Apparently, the issue is being internationalized and eventually the arrested Maoist supporter may get some international award like the Chinese Nobel prize recipient.
Although granted bail, Binayak Sen is not yet absolved of allegations of sedition. Grant of bail does not mean that he is not guilty. While law of sedition needs be given a fresh look and redefined, Binayak Sen has no business to provoke discussion on this topic. He feels honored by south Korean award. This is not surprising. Even Chinese rebel was given an award. Binayak Sen may deserve even Nobel Prize if he indulges in more anti national activities. It goes without saying that he directly or indirectly aids and abets the Maoists who have declared war against Government of India by law established. He is definitely traitor. Whether he deserves life imprisonment or shorter sentence or benefit of doubt is entirely different issue.
