there is simple Java and advanced Java....simple Java is not preferred in any industry. i believe...


Its called as Core Java and is used in IT companies for building software.

I advise you to choose .net because as i know in .net we easily got job as a fresher and in java we have to struggle a little bit....But one you enter in java field then i assure you you never turn back........

Platform independent means it can work on many platforms, not much changes needed while implementing in another OS. It doesn't mean, it can work without a platform :angry:

Java is ocean and dot net is bit easy than java.
In java for everything you have to write code.
But in dot net no need code for silly thing also.
Most of the Mnc's run on Java
