I feel most of you might not under stood this sum properly. Hence I give it in more detail.

What is that amount we get, when we add together the below.
1 minus 1/2 + 5 minus 1/4 + 8 minus 1/3.
This is just for an excersice to your mind.

0.5+0.25+0.3=1.05
