The excessive sense of possessiveness leads to divorce for infidelity. A couple does not live in a vacuum divorced from rest of the world. There is interaction outside family. Getting crush for someone other than one's spouse may naturally arise some times and lead to infidelity. The married couple should be responsible enough to maintain socially recognized relation and be faithful to each other. But some degree of infidelity is condonable.
