18 die as bus falls into river in Uttar Pradesh

Bulandshahr: Eighteen people, including eight children, were killed and 19 others injured Monday their bus fell into a river near here, police said.

The bus, on its way to Badaun, fell into the Neem river under police station Debai in the wee hours this morning, SSP Amitabh Yash said.

The bus passengers were going to village Ghosli to cast their votes in panchayat polls, he said.

19 injured were admitted to a government hospital here, he added.

Maybe road is damaged due to recent rains...Some precaution should be taken or else such accidents may not be controlled.
