Whenever any breach of law is reported, police take action. But the law is not enforced as a matter of course. In fact there are too many regulations and law. The police should be required to act only when there is some damage caused to voluntarily and unjustly against somebody. In the case, the boys would be technically minors but they are able to go to a bar and spend money on party. In such cases, legal intervention is waste of govt. resources.

The person irrespective of age should care about their own health...the business person can not be blame for this as it is their business and they do not care about the harm created by them..

The business person can be considered guilty if he deliberately commits fraud and adulterates food or drinks. In this case, there is no allegation of selling bad quality or adulterated wine. The customers even though minor had voluntarily gone there. It is not feasible for managers to verify age proof of customers. The time of police or really the time of public (police are paid from taxes collected from us) is being wasted unnecessarily. The police should be called in only when there is fraud, corruption, adulteration, undue violence or torture etc. Police need not be called for moral policing. This will be waste of public money.

There are no perfect laws in this country in many regards....
But i take a different ground on this.. its a moral duty of bar manager not to serve liquor to minors.... its agreed that it is his business....but then to it is an offence...

I am simply disgusted with the 'Chalta Hai' attitude of the police and administration of this country and this very attitude has landed us in Commonwealth Games mess!
