The population is more than what Earth can sustain. Moreover, over consumption of natural resources by the human population is snatching all space from forests and wild life. So, the future appears dark.

Growing Population of Muslims, may be a threat
The problem is growing population of men, roads, vehicles etc that is depriving animals and forests. The land is becoming a jungle of concrete. all this is disastrous. Growing population- Muslim or Hindu or whatever- is threat to earth.

@sajeetaran Any particular reason for saying that growing population of Muslims is a threat.. is it because it is mostly Muslims who engage in antisocial activities.

But I think that if Muslims grow, they will be less feeling that, being a minority community they are neglected, and perhaps reduce their criminal activities.

And anyway, as Gulshan said.. growing population is a threat because of many reasons like it creates pollution, no. of accidents will increase, there wil be more deforestation and natural resources will deplete.
I appreciate Sridevi's views that growing population is threat because of pollution, increasing accidents and other affects. The natural resources and space of Earth are limited. Increasing needs of human beings add to utilization of land and other resources with the consequence that wild life and forests suffer. This is ultimately disastrous to all.

Growing population is definitely a threat to the earth!! There is only so much quantity of natural resources which are fast getting depleted! Growing population necessitates clearing up of forests and natural grasslands to make space for habitation and farming. This leads to disturbance in the balance of the ecosystem and has already destroyed many micro ecosystems the world over!

And like Sridevi says, the greatest threat of pollution the consequences of which we are all experiencing today! :(
