The law and order in West Bengal has been alarming and it has been so for the last couple of decades. What disturbs me is that things have taken a turn for the worst under the present government.

Yesterday was a sad day here in West Bengal. While two groups were fighting in Murshidabad fires were shot. One of the bullets hit a class seven girl bystander. She was declared dead in the hospital. In a similar incident, two groups fought each other in Lake Town (Eastern Kolkata). A man lost his life and others got injured. What do these incidents indicate?
Unless we know the exact reason of shootout or groups involved we cannot comment on such incidents. This is very common scenario in every city, town villages of every state in our country. Tell us the reference to make it worth discussion.

I agree that Bengal has a culture of violence but bombs, bullets and killing are not common. Two people quarrel and start boxing each other with lots of slang words. They have tendency to quarrel and spoil each other's work. Jealousy is more among the people. It is only the political parties who fight with weapons and kill each other.

It is a political violence, and the land of Bipin Bihari Pal, who had redefined independence and inspired generations to fight violently against white intruders, but sadly after independence, the same state, is in the gas stove of politics. now they are killing innocent Indians.

They indicate that people are making a mockery of the Law and order in the state. But it's no different in other states presently.

All are anti-social elements be it a man or a woman. They are hardly qualified to earn their living. Hence they prefer to do political chaos on the streets.
