All the efforts put through for safety of women, all the days spent in vain in educating people on safety has all proved to be just nothing.

These men who gangrape, dont they read the news at all? dont they get the wave of what happens when they commit the crime? What is happening to our Nation?????????????

I am sure they read the newspaper and know what is happening that they can easily get away with 3-4 years of sentence and come back to do some more.I blame the center for this state of affairs...the Congress government has been lax in every way including making laws that protect people....

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

they probably do read but they are also aware how slow the judicial system and how less police are in numbers so they think they can get away with such disgusting acts!

Sometimes I feel the stringent punishments done to rapists or law breakers in places like Dubai/UAE should be done in India too

Now i guess All women must wear Burkha or cover from head to toe :(

Even if there is sure punishment may be just two years hard imprisonment, matters may improve. But difficulty is that many do not get even arrested. This case is of a photo journalist. Hence this is in limelight. More on seriousness of this crime:

Unless and until the law and judicial system is revised, such crimes will continue in India. Punishments given to one should create a fear among others such that they don't do the mistake.

Even then they won't be safe! The cause of such incidents is not because women move freely around but more because of sick, demented and pervert minds these type of men possess who view women as not person but objects of their gratification!

This is not the quantum of punishment but surety of being caught and punished is what matters more. In most cases, the culprits are not even arrested. In this case, there is news of some arrest having been made.
