I remember that many years ago, while traveling to Vasco Da Gama (Goa), saw Doodh Sagar from train window.

A Railway track is being built to Doodh Sagar falls.

Even those who travel to Pannaji (Panjim) by road do not know about this track. I had gone to Vasco Da Gama by train and saw Doodh Sagar from train window.

Thanks for the link Gulshan, the falls are truly amazing! I had seen photos of it by friends who traveled via Konkan Railway to Goa.

But isn't building tracks close to falls a wrong thing to do? It would slowly and surely kill the beauty of it all!

Doodh sagar waterfalls one of the highest in India is an amazingly beautiful sight. We drove to the place and then had to go there tekking for about 3 kms, well worth the effort. I am glad that they will be building a railway track, it is a lovely sight not to be missed .. :)
