Union Finance Minister refused to accept secial package for West Bengal. West Bengal C.M retorted that Central Government has been favouring Left Front for 34 years. What is wrong if the state government is asking for funds to pay staff salary.
Although Union Government may not give any undue favour to a state government, there is no reason why the favour given earlier to Left Front government be withdrawn now.
There are lots of things kept secret by the politicians.
I would say that everything depends upon time and situation. Maybe that was favourable situation and now it is unfavourable. It has nothing to do with party and politics.
