An auto driver was rewarded for his honesty. He handed over Rs 4 lakh cash and five tolas gold ornaments left behind by his customers to the Dabeerpura police late on Friday night.
According to Dabeerpura inspector D Prasanna Kumar, four women had engaged the auto of Muslim Ali, 30, at Ashok Baba Nagar to go to Kishanbagh on Friday around 4.30 pm. They forgot two bags behind the rear seat and disembarked near Pakija Hotel in Kishanbagh.
