There is no evidence of his direct involvement even though as leader the rioters were his followers.

I agree that he has done wonders to the state of gujarat, but i really doubt that he has no connection with the gujarat riots...

Narendra Modi has two faces. One is that of an exteme communal fascist killer leader and another of an able administrator. He won many elections after Gujarat riots. His role in the riots get diluted and is on the back burner. He is currently visualized as an able administrator.
