The only other active cricketers in that category are South African Jacques Kallis at No. 8, Australia's Shane Watson at 16 and West Indian Chris Gayle at 19. Dhoni and Sachin apart, Kapil Dev is the only Indian in the top 25, ranked at No. 9.

It was bit shocking however i am happy because sachin was rested in many ODI matches and now only he returned to ODI after a long gap and yet to produce some impact.
No other name seemed to have belonged so naturally at the top of the list than his. Until today, Tendulkar had seemed . He is now undoubtedly, the greatest ODI batsman ever .

These lists and ranks are usually fake. In india we do favoritism and that's why many players are overshadowed. Ganguly, dravid deserves more shoutout than dhoni. But if dhoni keeps on winning against weak teams then sure that sets up a record.
