The earlier years where change was very subtle, the video fast tracks...However, a must watch so that we know the change in rulers and dynasties our country has gone through right from 413 BCE ( Before the common Era ) ..

Maps of all the countries are unique in their on way.. Each country has a unique set of natural features like rivers, mountains, grasslands and deserts. Some have no seaside at all, completely and locked on all sides unlike India which has a very long coastline which is very advantageous.
There are advantages and disadvantages of having a long coastline. Transport and trade will increase. Fisheries, Pearls, Salt production provide economic opportunities to people. While the disadvantages are, places located near the coastline are vulnerable to Cyclones and other natural disasters.
India has had a very interesting and somewhat violent past which has also shaped our present. Maps are a show case of different periods of history. This is an interesting article that gives information on Indian history and an old map ..
