As they get new experience, the amendments are done. It depends on what the situation is for them to do so. Newer things take place which weren't either thought of earlier or need a mention in the amendment. And yes, it never happens in one sitting as you pointed out. Its' a lengthy process.

You probably got confused about what I meant, the last time the DA increase for ministers and MPs took one sitting only and since there is a very obvious consesnsus it got passed immediately ! they know how to look after their personal interests ..

That's very true! Laws are meant to meet the expectations and needs of society at any given point and it has been evolving and developing since the time immemorial. It is by no means static in nature. Thus we can observe many customs, conventions which formed the core of many a legislation have been accepted or discarded to meet the demands of time.

The major problem with our leaders is a complete lack of foresight.There is absolutely no provision or scope in our law for any futur mishaps or improvements ...They are short sighted and by the time the new amendment gets imlemented something else would havee creeped in...

What do you expect? Lalu, his party and family to do? Lalu Yadav has been found guilty and he will be sentenced to jail. Nobody can make him, his party and people lose heart and surrender. Lalu has definitely an undeniable right to appeal. Then it is for appellate court to decide. We or nobody else can be judge. We cannot speculate what the decision of higher court will be. They have also the right to contest election. Lalu may be barred but not his entire party and family. Now again you speculate what the people will do. You think that people will support them and they will win. If so, what we can do or any one else can? If Lalu wins it will simply confirm my viewpoint that ninety percent of our people are corrupt and for them corruption is no issue. We are wring in singling out politicians as corrupt when all- businessmen, priests, clergy, bureaucracy, corporate- are corrupt.
