Very often the police department takes the help of skilled artists to identify the criminals who leave no other clues. The artists work on the basis of the description given by the eye witnesses.
There are many advanced forensic imaging versions like ‘Pehchan Pro’ which is being widely used by the artists to identify the criminals.
But the exception is Nitin Yadav, a 48 year old drawing teacher who can create the likeness of the criminal basing on the description given by the eye witnesses with his pencil. And its said very often his pencil sketches are more accurate than the sketches made using modern forensic imaging versions.

Hats off to such people who dedicatedly work on their talent in bringing out something useful.

Imagine the feeling of joy in the hearts of the victim to atleast know that someone understands their plight

True.It proves that human caliber if used in the right way,no modern day gadget can excel it. Sakuntala Devi proved it long ago.
Apart from the artist, we also should appreciate narration by eye witness, without which sketch could not be made.

Yes. Nitin Yadav dealt with this aspect also. Thats why he said that he would ask the questions in a way devised by himself to get the information that is needed for him to sketch. For example once finding the eyewitness was unable to answer his questions, he asked, "Does he look like a cinema actor"? Pat replied the eyewitness that he exactly looks like so and so actor. He made the picture. And people were astonished to see the likeness of the criminal with the actor the eyewitness said.

Yadav is a rare species here as he has one such brilliant gift of sketching criminals through mild observed description from witnesses, kudos to this great artist, I hope he must have earned handsomely to continue using his great skill.

A rare talent has to be honoured and rewarded in a befitting manner. I don't know about his earning. But the fact is he's an asset to the police department.
