The unicorn is a legendary animal from European folklore that resembles a white horse with a large, pointed, spiraling horn projecting from its forehead, and sometimes a goat's beard and cloven hooves. Some believe they still exists but we can imagine them and only read about them in fairy tales.

It is a mythological legendary animal often referred in Greek mythology.We hear about good people being blessed and helped by it and thats how it got to be associated with purity and because of its graceful movement it is also a symbol of beauty.
Apparently a single horned species has been discovered in Italy which is supposed to have its ancestry to the Unicorn..
