I agree that its not possible to judge who are more intelligent... But research has proven that women has more memory power compared to men in certain thing..

But biologically men are more intelligent than women.. By birth.. it depends upon the weight of their brain.. and men usually have their brains weighter than women..

But look at the impact it has on people ! they consider it as gospel truth and go by it.The same goes for our Manu Smriti which is even worse.He says that women should never be left to do anything by themselves since they can never do anything well ! At every stage they need the assistance of a man - Father,brothers,Husband and sons ... :angry:

Manu smriti is something that I really hate and now Darwin too just broke my heart. As I have had keen interest in anthropology and evolution, I used to be a great admirer of Darwin, it will be difficult for me to take up a book to read now!!

There is also a an Urdu book called Bahishti Jevar (Of course I read the translated version). The title itself means Outer Jewellery and it talks about do's and don'ts or rather only don'ts that a woman are supposed to follow. Its much much worse than even manu smriti! Women are actually being viewed there at the level of a domestic animal or a doormat! :angry:

You gotta read newspapers published from NCR region, there are Fatwas issued by Village communities and self appointed judges for women affairs. This is mostly true for certain communities, not safe to name them.
