Who is right? You or your parents???

I think 25 is correct age for marriage,and i don't think parents would have any objection.
But if they are saying no,then there can be many reasons.
It is possible that they haven't found a suitable girl/boy for their child.
Financial Problems.etc etc

exactly sometimes this must be a problem that they are unable to find right match, or financial problem or may be because of other family trends and customs.

Now I remember a Malayalam movie of 1993, "Meleparambil aanveedu"...a family of 3-4 boys.......Except our hero, all others have crossed 35-40. Still parents believe they haven't reach age of marriage :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

The younger boy ...below 30(hero....Jayaram), parents think, still he is a small kid. While going to job in Tamil Nadu, situations prompt him to marry a Tamil girl Shobhana and since he is afraid, he is bringing her as servant to his home :cheer:
The way how his brothers flurt with her...one of them learning Tamil...and many such incidents....really a full packed comedy film....

At that time all think they are correct.So decision is quite hard to take.

If the parents tells us that you should not marry at the age of 25,after certain limit we should not argue with them.

yes there may be some other problems also like if in joint families and may be your cousin is elder than you and their may be trend that first elder will get marry so because of them you are not getting married. may be your job like you are not well established in life.etc.

parents are well wishers how can they be wrong.there must be some problem infront of them thats why they saying so.

Suppose you are just 23 or 25 years old and just thinking about settling in life :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: . You are telling your parents...."Father, mother, I want to marry now".
But if they respond, "No Beta..... you are too young and immature for marriage"

I feel that the parents are right. Normally parents have the best interest at heart and would think well before saying that.An individual should think a hundred times before entering into marriage which is a huge commitment not to be taken lightly since it involves another individual and his/her family too ...

Parents are always right. They never feel to do anything wrong or loss or bad to their children. They always love their chidlren

i think that not all the times parents are right.sometime they must understand what their children wants.if our parents wants that their children wants to be doctor then they must not put burden on them.but instead they must ask what children wants to be in future what is their ambition.but some cases parents are right as they are much older than us.we must respect them their views.

Parents are right regarding this decision. Marriage is a serious bond of relationship and not matter of joke. 23 or 25 is the age of fun for many young people. They are not matured enough to take such decision. This is reason why the number of divorce rate in India is increasing.

YEs, parents are good, whatever they do for the children will be good for the future of their children.So we should respect them

Parents always want the best of their children and if the child makes any mistake then they scold and child may think that time that parents are wrong.
But in future child will realize that parents were ok.
