I recently joined Bodduna couple of weeks ago. The problem I am facing is that I cant seem to add any image to my aricle.The image navigator tool seems really complicated? Is there a easier to add images? Please help

it is simple first click on insert image.
You will get Image manager then click on the upload. Then browse the image path and click on insert. Then image will insert in the image manager then click on that image once again and click on insert Your image will be inserted.
This is not a tough task and you can add image wherever you want in your article. Suppose you want to insert after fourth line .Just click after the particular line so that cursor would be in desired place and then after click on insert image to get your image there.
