Women to enjoy free DTC bus ride on Rakshabandhan

Women can enjoy free travel in Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) buses tomorrow on the occasion of Rakshabandhan.

This was announced today by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, who greeted people on the occasion

    Akash, it has to happen in reverse way! man should enjoy free ride on rakshabandhann.They need to run away from girls on that day.

    As the free DTC ride is announced i am worried about the huge crowd who will try to throng the buses. The excitement caused by the word "free" will even push the people who have their own vehicles to avail the "free" offer.

    Is this offer on first cum first serve basis?

    That may happen, but think about men..poor of them. I think it is only for today alone. hope there wont be any bad incidents in delhi.

    This is really a good initiative by DTC, hope all other governments do the same thing too, to increase the respect on women.

    what does it has related with respect? It is one of the tactics . There will be more crimes in bus because of this. No one is going to be benefited!

    Sisters go to their brothes' residence and the brothers give them some gifts for getting Rakhi. The brothers also go to their sistes for getting rakhi tied and they give gift to sisters. Thus sisters are getting gift on this occasion. Hence, the free ride should be for brothers and not for sisters.
