50 years in film: Actor Kamal Hasan to be honured

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Mega cultural shows by renowned artistes and a special programme to honour actor Kamal Hasan who has completed 50 years in cinema would be the highlights of this year's Onam week celebrations beginning on 22nd August.

Kamal Hasan would be honoured at the same function by Kerala CM V S Achuthanandan.

    Am a great fan of kamal hassan, even though rajinikanth in south has more number of fans, but kamal is a legend in acting.
