@Jayen, thanks for posting this much-needed information!! In Pune, the traffic police are notorious for hiding around signals and then catching people for very silly reasons and imposing penalties!! Hope this will help many people!!

These many days stopping motorists and demanding money was one of the tactics followed by traffic police men to make money.
I hope this rule would put a full stop to it.
