many needs of rural and urban population are same. so the technology is equally helpful to both. Now most villages have electricity connection. Hence, villagers are also benefited by use of gadgets like TV sets, computers etc. technology is also useful in village industries and agriculture. Now tractor is widely used in villages. Mobile phones and internet are also increasingly being used in villages. BSNL is giving special attention for internet service in villages.

New age technologies are surely going to change the rural landscape in India. Some very basic problems can be easily and effectively addressed and there should not be any iota of doubt about.
Technology is changing rural lives immensely. Now-a-days a lot of agricultural equipments are available, which makes their work quite easy and fast.

Yes technology has already changed the rural lives and still many changes will come
The use of computers and net connectivity to all the rural areas is likely to revolutionize the whole gamut of things in rural India.I understand ITC and some other corporate houses have reached out to the farmers and help them in soil testing, choice of crop and even source their supplies directly from these farmers.
