Absolutely , although it is believed that intelligent , here I would like to add academcally intelligent people tend to be not very social , man brilliant minds who are probably at a different level altogether are able to balance many more qualities including social skills

A very intelligent and well informed person is bound to occupy himself/herself with far more productive activities rather than socialize a lot. It is only those who have time on hand and others who gain something out of socializing that like to socialise and be seen at gathering s, attend parties etc etc
