The Chankya Neeti says when a dog is barking and ready to bite, it's safe to pacify him. In fact he said- Till the enemy’s weakness is known , he should be kept on friendly terms. Once the weak point of enemy is known, he should be reined by striking on that. RSS did the same at that point.

It is a pity that a sick Vajpayee was blackmailed into writing a letter of apology so he could go on parole and get treatment...It  only goes to show how unhinged  and tyrannical Indira Gandhi had become !

The RSS has nothing to be proud off.Its role has always been dubious, like in the present case it is supporting 2 Corrupt ministers. It also has the silly " GHar Wapsi"  going on. Instead of looking inwards and correcting ills of Hindu society it it is creating divisions

All these RSS bashing going on so I have noting to say here. 

And it goes on and on until the BJP gets dissociated from the RSS.

I dont see why BJP should disassociate itself from RSS just because a few congress sycophants want it and keep making it look as if RSS is a anti national party, which it is not...BJP has had strong ties with it since the beginning and it is but natural that there is an exchange of ideas etc...To say that RSS controls NDA in all political and decision making matters is going too far .Some RSS members may come out with outrageous statements like so many other politicians do from time to time - Sonia Gandhi called Modi a maut ka saudagar and so did Digvijay Singh and Mani Shankar Iyer who come up with utter nonsesne , SP MLAs and MPs are all the time saying some nonsense or the other which is never taken seriously because it has no value... So, just because RSS followers say something there is no need to blame BJP or expect them to give up their ties with RSS 

 I mean getting dissociated from RSS is acting independently. And also condemning  whatever RSS says that endangers the image of the BJP. You are right, insane speeches from other parties are not uncommon. Congress makes everything blown up as if such insane prattling never happened in their party..

BJP is political wing of RSS, a nationalist group of India which is trying to keep majority population of this country united. People dependent on votes of a particular religious group try their best to malign in order to defame and demoralize them. However, the RSS is a group having strong willingness to work for this country and its citizens. There is no way RSS could be disassociated from BJP. Rss is mother institute of BJP and that will be like a body without soul in case of BJP.

RSS has it bothways. When their political interference fails they claim they are a cultural organization. When culturally they create chaos they start claiming they are a nationalist body. They shy away from taking open political stands and do not fight elections. They keep adding fuel from time to time to keep the pot boiling. They are the equivalent of Congress's high command but do not accept -but all know it. Their idea of history has stopped at 999 AD. However till there is fundamentalism in our society they will survive as an anti dote to other side's fundamentalism.

I do agree. Fundamentalism prevails in the society.
