More and more educated and enlightened young people should be joining it to challenge and reform the present alarming trend of allowing worthless, morally bankrupt leaders of our country to foist their more worthless sons and daughters upon us! It is an unbearable situation. We need awareness on the part of our electorate to ensure that sons and daughters are defeated fair and square at the hustings. Rub it even harder by making them lose their security deposit!
I am told that it is almost impossible to survive if you are too honest and have a mind of your own in politics.You have to be a sycophant and an opportunist well versed in the art of making hay when the sun shines or else you get left out...The whole political system of ours needs overhauling !
Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!
There are some. But they are very few. Manik Sirkar, CM, Tripura.

@Rambabu
Manik Sirkar has been known to be a clean politician but his name has come under a cloud with the exposure of his government's involvement in chit fund scam. The former CM of West Bengal Bhuddhadev Bhattacharya stands tallest among very few upright politicians alongwith the former CM of Tripura,late Nripen Chakroborty who was tragically thrown out of the party by a move orchestrated by no other than Jyoti Basu when late Chakroborty went ballistic against Basu's corrupt practices of promoting his son as an industrialist.
Dear Chinmoy, thank you for updating. Yes, it's my mistake I didn't mention Buddhadev Bhattacharya. Have agood day Chinmoy.
Wish you , Rambabu, and all my wonderful friends here a great day! All the very best!
It is natural, though there would be exceptions to this phenomenon.
