Modi's aim is to bring peace from neighbor nations. He is doing it rightly now. Being an alliance partner vaiko can oppose the BJP if everybody accepted that he is doing wrong things. Most of the alliance partner are raising issues on the ruling party if their peel is rejected from the ruling party.
Vaiko no doubt has his own views , but Modi as the PM has to go beyond views shared by parties that allign with hi the same as they do...They have to compromise and move on and thats the only way an alliance works.
Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!
Yes, compromise is what the alliance partners should do. But the most important question is: should an alliance partner always keep quiet?
There should be a co-ordination meeting of all allies at least once a month to sort out matters. Otherwise, this problem will become a huge problem.
Although, the union government is run by an alliance termed as NDA, BJP has its own majority. so BJP can afford to act indendently even ignoring the iews of the other alliance partners. If some alliance partner is too much concerned with indifferent attitude of the major alliance partner, the only option is to quit the alliance.

Ruling party and the alliance partners should sort out their difference in their internal meetings. The leader of the ruling party should convince the alliance partners to the possible extent. If the stalemate continues, the alliance partner should leave without creating un uproar.
Vaikko had tried to convince the NDA that the approach that it had taken towards the Sri Lankan leadership is wrong. In a way, he was right. It has now been proved beyond any doubt that the political leadership of Sir Lanka is indeed guilty of several war crimes.
He could have been counseled, but the BJP did nothing. Now, he has walked out, on an issue, that was and is very close to his heart.
This is exactly what should not have happened at all. The BJP should learn a lesson from this and ensure that the alliance partners are at least kept informed of any major decision and their opinions are also heard. It is true that international relations are governed by certain other principles, but in a State like Tamil Nadu, there are several other emotional issues that one should not loose sight of.

True. BJP should have informed Vaiko. Vaiko has been taken for granted. This is an instance of one sided decision , which is not welcome in a democratic country.
