It is said that every failure is a stepping stone to success. No failure is total. Failur means partial success. Next attempt may turn this in full success.

Well said Sir. Failure is a reminder that one is already on the path to success. A few more attempts would bestow success. One who takes this hidden message reaches top.

It often happens that one loses hope when only one attempt more would have given him success.

Exactly. That's why peers say, " Never Never Give up. "

I would also add - when you have tried and failed amny times , analyse why this is so and change your strategy rather than give up. Sometimes one may have to give up ultimately because you cannot win all the time !

Of course, giving up is the last resort. But it indicates that the person has set an unachievable goal. That's setting a wrong goal.
Yes what you said is right if one fails to achieve success despite trying many times, it's understood that there is something wrong in your strategy. It has to be rearranged and see that the earlier mistakes are not repeated.

Very true..if we set a goal which is unachievable...we tend to face failure,,it is hence always better to set realistic, measurable, and achievable goals..however small it may seem..if we are able to achieve smaller goal we get confidence to go out and achieve and aim for bigger ones.

The first goal should be always easy and achievable one. Such a goal can be easily achieved. This first achievents boosts your morale and it helps in going to the second goal with renewed vigor.

There is a saying that if you plan to climb Mount everst and execute it, you may end up at least on the foothills....I guess failure is a state of mind and how you visulaise it !

No doubt what you saying it true..but what I meant by setting achievable goal is something like this -- if a fish is asked to climb a tree and a monkey is asked to swim both these goals are impractical. Most of the times we set too high expectation for ourselves, fail, and then label ourselves as failures, which is wrong.

According to psycho analysts it is only the confident that aim high and somehow manage to succeed , the less confident aim lower and fail even there ...I guess it is also a mindset where you accept your limitations and also are able to accept failures in life ! Unless children are taught early in life to do this, it becomes very difficult for them to do so in later life which becomes the major reason for unhappiness...

Exactly its mindset how you handle failures some people lose the direction once fail while few people take it as a lesson and do better next time. :)

Every celebrity who are or were in the pride of place today never achieved success without a failure in the initial stages. Their failure made them more determined. And they never looked back.

There is a saying............."you make mistakes. Mistakes don't make you". Our mistakes are our life lessons. They teach us and warn us never to repeat the wrong doings or the bad decisions that we have made in our lives. The faster we accept our mistakes and move on the better are our chances to prevent failures.

Welcome. I have become an artist by accident. Then with the help of books and tutorials I developed it and extended it to digital paintings.
Failure is the stepping stone to success.
Failure is the stepping stone to success.

Failure is something that happens to all including Nobel Laureats. Difference is they converted failures in to resounding success by sheer persistence. Others ran away depriving themselves Success.

Yes, just as setting a goal and making an attempt to achieve it is important, it is equally important to be able to accept our failures. A failed attempt should be a stepping stone to try even harder. We should snap out of our failures instead of losing focus, only then real progress can be made.
