Yes, it's a good occasion to show our reverence and respect to that person who toiled hard to give us a glorious life.
But why this respect and love should be restricted to only one day in an year?

Fatherhood is the marvelous state of human life which needs no definitions. Father is God himself, a great teacher and a close friend to his children. He is a person who can evoke the vibrations of their thoughts. He is the best guide to help them achieve what he has not accomplished so far. A whole life is not sufficient to respect his glory.
