Prime minister post- not a priority for Rahul Gandhi

Rahul says that being P.M. is not his priority. This is indeed commendable. An office or post- howsoever big- is only a means. This does not mean that he is reluctant to accept P.M. post when circumstances warrant. This is simply not a priority.

    I would like to see him elected and nominated by congress party for the post of PM. If he does refuse the post in that case it sure would be an exemplary incident. His mother refused the post in past while people objected to her selection as PM.

    Really this is an issue for the congress. There is nothing wrong in Rahul accepting the position of PM if circumstances warrant. Sonia declined the post of PM owing to some peculiar circumstances.

    In the same interview he also spoke about not having any intention of marrying and having kids....I am not sure if he is definite about it or just making statements! Sonia Gandhi's refusal had a very deep reason which had nothing to do with what she termed as her inner voice..

    In the same interview he also spoke about not having any intention of marrying and having kids....I am not sure if he is definite about it or just making statements! Sonia Gandhi's refusal had a very deep reason which had nothing to do with what she termed as her inner voice..


    His remark is a satire on entire political leadership. He is reluctant to marry because then like others he will also get interested in promoting his own children like others.

    'LIKE OTHERS' says it all. I am sure he doesn't want to do that and that is the only reason for his not agreeing to marriage.

    It is an internal issue of congress. Sonia once refused this post so party will decide about it.
    But in congress Rahul will be automatic choice.

    That is , if they come back to power with a majority of seats...otherwise they will be at the mercy of the allies.I cant figure out which is worse, having a Congress led UPA with Sonia/Manmohan Singh/Rahul as the PM or Karunanidhi or someone else forcing their heirs on the nation :dry: Both the scenarios are scary ! :huh:
