World top oil producing countries

Saudi Arabia has virtually no other resources except oil and the way the country has come up is amazing. In fact most of the oil rich countries are the Arabian gulf region and the american region ..

Saudi Arabia is well known for its Oil. Since oil plays an important role, Saudi Arabia remains the one of th erichest countries in the world.

Saudi Arabia is that and so why the western countries attack them to get control over oil.

Gulf countries are mainly being attacked only because of Oil resources. Because those resources play a vital role.

Ram, so far I have not heard of any western country attacking Saudi Arabia so far for oil, can you add some details and information regarding the same , and also provide links if you have any ...In fact Saudi Arabia had absolutely no technology to get the oil out which was/is being provided mainly by Americans and other Western countries..

Oil has been a great source of income for these countries. It is oil which has brought enough wealth to develop the infrasturcture and standard of living of the people. These countries don't possess any other products which can bring in much revenue to the Government.

Few of the countries in the world got affected by some developed countries just because those countries are top oil producing countries. I hope everyone is aware of this.

In Nigeria, where my father works, there 1 litre petrol price is 17 rupees.

I all gulf countries where there are oil wells , the prices are very low...But the situation is Nigeria is very volatile isnt it ? many people working there have left the place and come after the Islamic rebels took over parts of it a couple of years ago...

Yes, many people have left. It happened in 2004 or 2005. But after that situation is in control. Still in some parts it still happens. Where my father lives, is covered with full security. Soldiers from Israel and many others countries are brought to protect the indians. Still, my father is not allowed to step outside from the township. He is just allowed to go from Township to airport when he comes home.
when he step outside the township, he is given a strong security.
Two Cars with Machine gun runs ahead of my father's Car and Two cars back of my father's car.
And on the side, 2 cars with the soldiers having AK 47 rifle in their hand.
