Story telling has many advantages especially in making your child's imagination grow and go on to other things as well. For example a story told about scriptures spurs him to listen to more such stories and also other scriptures and similar stories which are related.Word association too is very important in boosting one's memory power which gets developed through story telling...

I like telling stories to my lovely neighbour kid. He will act like he went to sleep, but after stopping telling the story. Again he wakes up and asks to continues story. I will tell horror and interesting stories for him. So will ask me to tell the same stories again and again.
