In Bengali culture Gents don't use mehendi but girls use it in various occasions.

Putting Mehndi is considered to be one of the rituals in marriage. So, they must be putting something to the alternative of Mehndi.

Putting Mehndi is considered to be one of the rituals in marriage. So, they must be putting something to the alternative of Mehndi.

i can't remember......
I don't know if it's applicable for Muslims.....
One day before Muslim marriage they do have a function Mehndi marriage. During this function, Oppana dance will be performed.
I want to know if Oppana and mappila paatu are performed among muslims of North India
Oppna - bride will be seated and girls dance around her, teasing her. If it's done for a boy, it's Mappila paattu. Mappila means Muslim groom
