Till now, I think, Aradhana is the best musical film which has not only given 3 super stars to Bollywood ( Rajesh Khanna, Kishore Kumar and R.D.Burman who completed his father's work) but also developed a music mania and great reforms in musical world of Bollywood, till unbroken. Each and every song of it was so special. It saw the sudden decline of great singer Mohd.Rafi too. It bought a new era of superstars to Indian films. Also, its songs were played continuous in Binaca Geetmala for weeks, a record still unbroken.
I think, after that, Ashique was one such movie, which marked a new beginning to new era of music in the industry.

If you are looking for famous and well played song ..i think even Shammi kapoor songs were well played at that time... I love almost all of his song..

Actually ...if we have to point out one hero for best songs in Bollywood, it's none other than Shammi. It's through him that I was attracted to Hindi Music....also Rajesh Khanna songs......
My most favorite is Tum ne mujhe dekha......and all songs of Kashmir ki Kali, Jungle, An evening in Paris, Prince, Andaz, Professor, Jaanwar, Brahmachari and many more

I switch on TV to see news about Rajesh Khanna. Lataji was talking over phone in a channel. Her photo was shown. Seeing this, she said, "She is a great heroine of old movies".
