What is the difference between smart work and hard work?

Smart worker can take less resources in less time with more profits, while hard worker may or may not be a smart worker.

I think... the work which had done with lot of effort can called hard work.

and the same work done smartly with good ideas with less efforts can call smart work.

smart is work is that to perform all thing in a limit with a high result.......
Giving response in forum is a hard work but reading fast article is smart work....


I wonder if giving response in a forum is really a hard work especially when you go through the reply of some members who reply regularly but have nothing to add other than something like I agree or thank you etc.

Smart work means clever/tactfull ways of working and hard work means your physical capability to do your work without any rest.
First one is related with mind. Second one is related with your muscles.

Both can be related to mind and hard work doesn't mean related to muscles( physical work)...even finding a smart way to deal with certain problem need hard work...

Smartness also may depend on speed of work. The same amount of work can be done in lesser time by quicker operations. For example, you may write post in boddunan faster by fast typing. If you pause more between each stroke, this will take more time and will not be smart.

Personally, I believe- work fast, eat or consume slow.

In my opinion if the success is acheived by big efforts it is called hard work and the same or more success is acheived by lesser efforts it is called smart work. :)

what i think that when hard work is done, we need to do some thinking and new ideas has to come up from our mind, to solve that issue. That is why work is called hard work.

So, in hard work, more and more smartness is needed. :)

Any worker can do the same work in 3/4th time compared to hard worker. Smart worker does it 40% faster than hard worker, he knows the trick.

Not necessarily ! Hard work too needs t have a goal and also a plan of action without which it might turn out to be a wasted effort.Planning and execution are necessary in both hard work and smart work.You probably do a lot more brain work which makes your work smart ..To succeed hard work is needed even in this case..
