A little away from where actually water falls makes a nice point where you can have a nice bath, for instance if you go to Sahstradhara in Dehradun that would be an experience that you shall never forget in your life.

Taking bath on waterfalls will always enjoyable. We have to take care while taking bath. Our body pains get relief by taking bath on falls. :)

Vinu
Taking care is a term that we have to use every where even our bathrooms may prove fatal. But there is no need to take extra risks as thee are some safe water holes available around the water falls.

Even it may be risky as the current of the water may increase suddenly like it happened recently in INDORE and 5 people died in it:

I am sorry you did not read my answer carefully, I said there are small holes where water gathers naturally are quite safe. Like they even have sulfur streams and keep them well guarded.

I have taken bath in Sahastradhara at Dehradun a few years back. There is vast safe area there. But at many places, the falls are very steep and water flow is risky so that one may be even swept away. So, caution is really necessary. The risk of drowning is there even in rivers.
