The Union Public Service Commission's decision to replace the the existing IAS ( preliminary ) Exam by Civil Service Aptitude Test has been ratified by the Union Cabinet. This examination would consist of two objective-type papers dealing with the aptitude for Civil Service and moral and ethical aspects of decision-making.The IAS aspirants may note that it will come into effect next year.

The UPSC decision is very appropriate and welcome. Aptitude for a job is most important. It is in interest of all youth that they get the job they are most suited for according to their natural inclination, interests and aptitude.
