India is finally off World Health Organization's list of polio endemic countries. This means that no new polio case has come up in the country in the last one year.

That is really wonderful news but I am not sure. Our health department is expert in fabricating data. Because I know a few case were reported in NCR region recently but they did not register them.

I know this because some one very close to me is in-charge of Pulse Polio operation of that particular region of W.UP.This is not an official report.

Wow but the report i think is dubious as many cases of polio still exist in villages but they are never reported. :(
Yes you may be right and I think they are saying about further new case that means no further new case have not been found.

I gave my daughter Polio dip last Sunday. Next is on March or April. Here, every mother gave importance to this.
If we miss it due to some reason, next day, people will come from Panchayat and they will give it. So, no need to worry. :)

That's really great. As per few replies above, some cases are not getting reported.. Hope India will able to get rid of it completely.
