There is an RTI officer in every department or office. You may submit application asking for requisite information along with prescribed fee. You may also submit application online.

RTI is abbreviated form of Right to Information. RTI act enables you to get information on any matter from government. Before this act was passed, only MPs and MLAs could get information. Now every citizen can get. For more information see the link:

RTI in India can be filed by two ways: online and offline. For the online procedure visit rti.gov.in and fill up the details required by them, then they will respond with the information, and in the offline procedure any citizen can request information from any of the public organization and then they will reply instantly or within 30 days.
