I am not sure if it would be launched in India or not but yes the award will be in the form of gift certificate from amazon and you can earn only unto $25.
I don't believe this can be a good price that Google is offering for us to share our privacy,They even Keep their eyes on us everytime when we log into account.Some things that cannot be share to all.If you think that there is nothing to escape it from the google then it is a good to have earn some bucks of money in your pocket.But there is a another motive they want to take a survey about the user is engage in what activativity.This might hel;p the rating of google.

Google and other search engines already know what we surf on net. The only issue is that the information is not passed on for commercial or other use. It is no use asking for privacy from Google just as you cannot conceal your body from doctor. Thus, if we can get good amount by mere surfing, this is not bad idea.

What Gulshanji has said is correct......All are browsing are not fully protected......it is only that through this program we would give Google the authority to track our browsing.......
