yes, neela is common mostly in many languages.
In telugu we say neelam
In hindi we say neel
but in English we say blue

I think in Hindi and Malayalam a lot of words are common which I realised yesterday while my daughter interviewed me in Hindi for her homework!!!!

Okay ball means bull in English which is male cow according to you. By the way ox and oxen are a little different from bull.
